Weddings

Green Cabs are available for wedding transport hire. Our cabs provide the perfect vehicle to transport wedding party members right up to the alter in places where other forms of transport are not allowed (eg The Botanical Gardens). As weddings are special occasions we generally use our formal black cabs, although you can choose a green cab if you wish. We also ensure the cabs are specially polished and decorated, and ready to transport you on your big day. Our wedding package includes the sole use of the cab (including its rider) for two hours including travel time to and from the wedding. If the cab needs to be transported by trailer an additional $50 fee applies.

Group or individual bookings

Green Cabs are available for group or individual bookings outside of our normal operating times. The fee for this special service (available on Monday-Thursday and Fridays till 3pm) is the same as described below for School Formal bookings. However groups are encouraged to utlise our service at times when we normally wait at the Wheel of Brisbane (ie Friday evening, Saturday till late, Sunday till 6pm, public holidays till 6pm and school holidays till 6pm). At these times groups simply need to meet at the Green Cabs rank and arrange a group ride with the riders working at that time. By doing this you will be charged at our standard taxi service rate, which start as low as $5 per person. If you are planning a group event during our normal operating hours, please email info@greencabs.net.au to advise of your plan so that we can let the riders know to expect your party. If you want to arrrange a special group booking outside of our standard operating times, please email info@greencabs.net.au to make the booking and arrange payment. A 50% deposit is required with all pre-booked cabs..

Formals

Green Cabs are available for school formal transport. If your formal is on a night when Green Cabs operate from the Wheel of Brisbane (Friday and Saturday nights) it's most cost effective to simply meet at the Wheel of Brisbane and negotiate the fare with the rider to obtain a standard taxi fare rate. If your formal falls on Mon-Thurs night, you will need to book a Green Cab. In these instances our formal package includes a 30 minute tour departing from the Wheel of Brisbane and arriving at your formal venue. The following special rates apply for pre-booked formal rides:
